Katrina (Manilyn Reynes) requested from her eccentric boyfriend to fire Dr. Mateo (Ogie Alcasid) from the zoo. Because of Sam's (Marc Abaya) love for Katrina, he followed her request. Dr. Mateo could not do anything but to accept the truth. Everybody were very sad upon knowing this. They know that Dr. Mateo is a kind man. They have been working with him for a very long time already. Back at Mateo's house, Cherry (Ruffa Mae Quinto) was already asking Mateo for marriage. She do not mind that Mateo do not have a job anymore. All she wants is that she would get married with the man she is obsessed with. Mateo answered her that he is not yet ready for that especially now that he do not have a job. Meanwhile, Daldalita (Jillan Ward) pity Dr. Mateo because he lost his job. She knows that it was not rightful. He was only removed because of a certain favor. Back at the zoo, Daldalita went to visit her animal friends. She went up to them one by one telling her farewell. Together with her were Daisy theDcuk (voiced by Candy Pangilinan) and Bobby the Pig (voiced by: Wally Bayola). The animals in the zoo were very sad because they would not see the bubbly child everyday. But Daldalita assured them that there is nothing to worry about since she would visit them if she finds time to pass by the zoo. She told them that even if DR. Mateo do not work there anymore, she would visit them. Daldalita expressed that there is only one person left that she haven't said goodbye in the zoo. And that is none other than Katrina. But the child remembered that there is no use letting her know that they were leaving because she is the reason that her father Mateo lost his job. Meanwhile, Sam was scheduled to have a press conference and show the media the gorilla from Somalia. But he told his staff that they are only going to placed a fake gorilla inside. That means that a person would be acting like a gorilla. They would have a fight in the cage and later on he will win the match. When the show had started, Sam and the staff thought that the gorilla inside was the man they hired. But hat is actually inside is a real one. Marga (Julie Anne San Jose) bumped into the man who was supposed to play as the gorilla. She noticed the props in the bag of the guy. The guy then explained to her the purpose why he was bringing that costume. Marga was then alarmed because she knows that the show have already started. And if she is facing right now with the supposed- to- be gorilla and then it only means that the gorilla in the show is the real one. SYNOPSIS: Couple Mateo and Carmela live a simple and happy life in the province. But their happy marriage hits a rough patch when Carmela dies after giving birth to their child Lolita. Adding to Mateo's misfortune is the unusual condition of Lolita whom he thinks is mute. But despite that, Mateo devotes his unconditional love and attention to his child. Katrina, Carmela's older sister, helps his brother-in-law in fulfilling his parental duties. Eventhough, most of the time, they would clash, in the end they realize that they develop an unlikely affection for each other. One day, Katrina brings Lolita in a "miracle" doctor hoping that it would help cures Lolita's unusual condition. This angers Mateo and makes him say hurtful words to Katrina. Devastated, Katrina packs her bags and leave him. Having no one to turn to, Mateo seeks the help of his neighbor, Tisay to help him out in taking care of Lolita. Unknown to Mateo, Tisay brings the baby along to beg on the streets. But one day, police officers arrest all the street beggars and Tisay, afraid of being caught, flees and leaves Lolita in a basket inside a delivery truck. The baby Lolita ends up in a duck farm owned by the kindhearted Lupe. She raises her as her own. But Lupe's daughter, Susan despises and often mistreated Lolita. The animals in the farm empathize with Lolita, who until now is still unable to speak even a singe word. To cheer her up, they would talk and play with her. Lolita listens to the animals and Daisy, the mother duck, treats Lolita as her adopted duckling. Until one day Susan attempts to kill Daisy, Lolita stops her and says... "quack! quack! quack!". Lupe, after hearing the little girl can speak now, teaches her how to talk like a human and gives her new name: Daldalita. As days pass, Lupe become sickly and bedridden. Susan sees this as an opportunity to get rid of Daldalita and takes her to Manila. Daldalita, along with her pets Daisy (duck) and Bobby (piglet), ventures around the city and start their new adventure in different environment. Who are the friends and foes Daldalita will meet in her new adventure? Will Mateo finally crosses paths with his long-lost daughter?
